Collecting Rs 100 Cr has become a possible task for a Telugu film with its limited target audience when compared to that of Hollywood and Bollywood.
It is the film 'Attarintiki Daredi' that brought this hope by collecting Rs 75 Cr despite several odds and hurdles. The film suffered the piracy before the release and also faced the wrath of blue ray quality video download of the film on internet.
Adding to this the Samaikyandhra agitation marred the collections in almost 13 districts of AP. Followed by that phailin cyclone multiplied problems.
Inspite of all these problems, the film could make Rs 75 cr. That too a family entertainer with a star hero. Then how much a Telugu film can collect if it is 'Bahubali'. Since the film is being made in three languages, collecting Rs 100 cr may be a cake walk but making that only in Telugu is the wish of many.
