The assumptions on who will act as heroine in Hindi version of Tamil ‘Ramana’ and Telugu ‘Tagore’ can now put to rest. Director Krish is given the responsibility to handle the project by Sanjay Leela Bhansali with the title of ‘gabbar’ for which Akshay Kumar is fixed as hero.
The names Shruti Hasan and Tamanna were considered first for the female lead but now it is Bollywood villain Shakti Kapoor’s daughter Shraddha Kapoor is given the green signal.
While Kareena Kapoor is set to reprise the Telugu role of Jyothika, it is Shraddha to do as Shriya.
This project is expected to go on floors by early of next year when Krish completes the scripting process with necessary changes made to suit the Bollywood nativity. After ‘gabbar,’ then Krish will direct Mahesh Babu on ‘Shivam.’
