Telugu cinema industry is facing problems with shortage of heroines for over a period of time. The problem hasn't solved yet as most of the newcomers failed to make a mark. Heroines like Amala Paul, Catherine Teresa etc. looked promising at the start, but they didn't really make an impression of star heroine in the making.
Samantha, Kajal, Tamanna and Shruti Haasan are leading the pack with so many films on hand. Anushka, Trisha and Nayanatara are doing only matured roles. Therefore our filmmakers have to compete for the current top four heroines. With increasing demand their remunerations are going up and these heroines are not content with doing Telugu movies.
They are exploring new waters and it results in shortage of dates. Audience are already getting bored to see same faces in every alternate film. It is high time to find a new set of star heroines because movies are getting delayed for many days and so much money is being wasted due to this problem.
